GOMsmart’s Interactive Mapping System opens new avenues for viewing and accessing data on oil and gas activity in the Gulf of Mexico. Many types of data are available within the mapping feature: Leases, field outlines, wells, platforms, pipelines, and more. Maps are automatically updated on GOMsmart within hours of release by the Minerals Management Service.

Sometimes a big map is what you need. GOMsmart’s Map Library contains over a dozen E-size maps ready for printing. Each of these maps is produced as soon as new data are released. Some are recreated daily, some weekly and others less often, but always within hours of the release of new data. Need an MMS Lease Sale map? With GOMsmart, an E-size sale results map is added to our Map Library within ONE hour of the MMS release. Watch Video |

GOMsmart provides the complete collection of well log images released by the MMS, in both B&W and color. The time-saving preview feature assists in finding the correct well logs so your time is not wasted downloading the wrong file. Choose from all logs on a well by type, with run dates and logged intervals. After previewing, download the TIFF file. Watch Video |

Stay current – GOMsmart provides new Lease data the day of the MMS’ release. Easily analyze ownership and bidding by area or company. View all leasing details from serial records and aliquots to past leases and bids. Download ready-made, always up-to-date wall maps of current leases, expected expiration dates and lease status.
